After the background in academic drawing, art and architecture schools she developed her jewellery design skills at Creative Academy - private design school by Richemont group in Milan. There she worked on real projects for Richemont brands such as Van Cleef and Arpels, Vacheron Constantine, Roger Dubuis and others, followed by an internship in Van Cleef and Arpels design department in Paris.

Combining her drawing skills with extensive practical experience in the industry Inesa worked out the series of jewellery drawing programs of different levels for jewellery designers and lovers. Since 2016 Inesa has been teaching around the globe. For her masterclasses she collaborated with different art and design institutions, including Victoria and Albert museum in London.

Day 3
Through step-by-step guidance, you will begin sketching basic forms and learn how to use light and shadow to express volume.
You will build on your skills by sketching different types of volumes and surface effects. – All are using a pencil.

We will begin with a deep dive into the fundamentals: how illustration serves as a tool for creative thinking in jewellery design

MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT
To fully participate in and to complete the course assignments, please make sure you have the following materials:
  • White Pencil: Faber-Castell Polychromos or Caran d’Ache Pablo. Any brand is fine, choose medium softness. (Avoid pastel pencils — they’re too soft)

  • Dark Tone Paper: Fabriano Colore or Canson Mi-Teintes (I’ll use the dark blue). Choose any dark colour you like, just not black
  • Marker: ProMarker Cool Grey 1 or Copic or Winsor&Newton marker - light shade of grey (neutral or warm grey is also fine)

  • White paper or your sketchbook for notes

  • Pencil HB-B
